I have taken a leave today and sitting at home I thought of trying stumbleupon. The site has been in talks for a long time and but its requirement of adding a plug-in always kept me away. Plug-ins do make things easy for you but they must not be mandatory. Getting bored, I just created a log-in and downloaded the plug-in. Sumbleupon has been quite famous and it was an instant hit for me. Got me to some interesting sites. It is quite good for one of these days when you have nothing better to do. But what all it offers in long term is something to be seen.

I am not able to log-in into Orkut for quite some time. The web-site say "under maintainance". Not that this is the first such occurance. The site always sucks !!! There are very regular data fetching problems. Google seems to put little attention and resources to this site. Unfortunately, in spite of having a number of problems, I am forced to stick to this site. All my friends are here. And then I just hope google would make some improvements learning from their very well placed competitors in this domain.

This is just a check post. If successful, I may turn to using vox as my alternative blogging site. Let's see!!
